Project Overview
CMPL Global (Charu Merchandising Pvt. Ltd.) is an India-based sourcing, merchandising, and product development partner for international retail programs—especially value and discount retail in North America. With sourcing roots spanning nearly four decades and long-running retail partnerships, the company needed a digital presence that matches how serious buyers evaluate a buying house: categories, compliance, process, and a clear path to the buying desk.
NodeMerge designed and built the company website as a structured B2B showcase—from product offerings and trade services to design/development workflows and contact.
About CMPL
Charu Merchandising operates as a diversified buying house out of New Delhi, coordinating verified factories across India’s production clusters. Their programs span:
- Paper stationery — school, office, and journal assortments
- Textiles — home textiles and related soft goods
- Stainless steel kitchenware
- Paper party & gift
- Aluminium beauty and packaging formats
- Krafts / crafts
- Kitchen & home assortments
Beyond products, CMPL supports trade services (including PLI coordination, supply chain finance, LCs, and compliance) and design & product development from trend and sampling through packaging, costing, testing, and commercialization.
The Challenge
Global buyers already understand India as a supply base—what they need from a website is proof of program readiness: multi-category depth, audited partners, quality and export documentation, and a credible concept-to-shelf process. The site had to:
- Explain a complex sourcing business in plain, scannable sections
- Separate products, trade services, and design/PD without feeling like a brochure dump
- Signal compliance (audits, testing, packaging specs, shipment docs) without legal overclaim
- Give international buyers an obvious next step (explore products / contact buying desk)
The Solution
We structured the site around the buyer journey CMPL actually runs:
- Position — nearly 40 years of India sourcing for global retail; verified factories and structured trade services
- Offer — three clear business divisions: product offerings, trade services, design & product development
- How we work — factory floor to export lane (partnership, factories, export readiness, buying desk)
- Categories — deep retail assortments across stationery, textiles, steel, party, aluminium, crafts, and home
- Network & trust — India manufacturing clusters and compliance signals
- Process — design → supplier match → sampling → production → QC → shipment
- Contact — buying desk path for RFQs and program conversations
Key Features
- Conversion-minded hero with dual CTAs (product offerings + contact buying desk)
- Business division cards for products, trade services, and design/PD
- Category architecture for multi-line retail assortments
- Process storytelling (six-step concept-to-shelf flow)
- Trust cues for factory audits, PLI coverage, testing, packaging, and shipment readiness
- About / leadership / network context for long-term buyer relationships
- Responsive B2B layout optimized for desktop research and mobile follow-up
Results
CMPL Global now has a modern public site that presents them as a serious India sourcing and distribution partner—not a generic trading company. International buyers can scan categories, understand trade and development services, and reach the buying desk with a clear sense of how CMPL runs programs from sampling through export.
